This model was built by Ian Bryant and is now owned by Bernie Jones, It's built from a Czech Kit designed and manufactured by Petr Doubrava of Grafik. CZ. This is a fully built-up construction with some preformed moldings and scale spinner supplied. It was modeled on a Czech-produced Zlin 526 AFS still flying at shows throughout Europe today. The model is fitted with a Fiala FS 60 S1 4-stroke single petrol motor and produces a very scale-like performance. When first flown the model seemed very nose heavy, so after adjusting the CG and removing all the weight from the nose it now performs very well. The model is fitted out with Jeti Model Radio gear and Power-Ion Batteries, with a mixture of MKS and Macgregor servos and Elektron retracts. The model is currently fitted with a 24 x 12 Classic Fiala Propeller, but we are soon to test it with a new Scale Propeller from Fiala to add to the great looks of this model.
