Spitfire MKVII

This is quite an old model that Darren started prior to joining the team but which was never finished. The Mosquito project seemed an ideal opportunity to finish the model so it could be flown alongside the Mosquito's in a unique display.

It's 1/5 scale, 83" wingspan and was originally powered by a laser 150. It's a traditional build all balsa and a fully detailed cockpit. All rivet and panel lines are shown. Control surfaces are finished with stitching and pinking tape.

The model has recently been modified to electric power with the Laser 150 being replaced with an E-Flight 160 motor running on 10S lipo's
