Helicopters provide something different from fixed wing aircraft and the Ghost Squadron operates several different types, from models suitable for basic training up to a large and very powerful helicopter powered by a two stroke petrol engine

Some of the helicopters flown are capable of aerobatic manoeuvres, including inverted flight, providing an impressive display for the watching public.Helicopters are a particularly useful addition to the Ghost Squadron portfolio, in that they may be flown in small sites and are quite tolerant of adverse weather conditions.
