Westland Lysander

Andy's larger Westland Lysander is based on a Seagull Models kit but has been extensivly reworked to create a unique model. The model is 1/5th scale giving a wingspan of 3m (118"). The model is fitted with flaps and working landing lights in the wheel fairings.

The model is powered by an AMG 55 2 stroke petrol motor.

The flying weight is approx 11kg

The smaller Lysander has been built from the Dennis Bryant plan and is to a scale of 1 /7.4 giving a wingspan of 2.057m (81"). It is powered by an OS 91 4-stroke glow motor and weighs approx 5kg.

Like its bigger brother it is fitted with flaps and working landing lights.
