DH Chipmunk

Darrens latest model is a DH Chipmunk, G-ARMB, this model is in the Civil colour scheme of the college of air training based at Hamble Southampton from 1960 / 1982.
The model was built from a modified Jerry Bates design. Its a balsa and light ply build with a fiberglass epoxy skin. Rivet detailing is PVC wood glue applied with a syringe. The cowling was constructed over a male mold. The model is finished in base coat paint with a 2k clear lacquer.
