D H Vampire

This model was built from a DerJet kit and is powered by a JetCat 120 size turbine. It has working speed brakes, wheel brakes and flaps in addition to the normal flight controls. It is a very practical and easy model to flyand can regurarily be seen being flown by John at his local club flying field.

The model is 1/5th scale giving a wingspan of approx 2.3m

The dry weight is approx 12kg and it can carry 3 litres of fuel. The airframe is very efficient and the model spends most of its time flying at a very low throttle setting so flights of 15mins+ are easily achieved.
